This little ol' blog is about my life. Maybe the title gave that away...? It's super original, I know.
I run this blog and my photography business for a living in Austin, TX. I love what I do and where I live, and I'm grateful I can say that. Writing and photography and social media truly are my passion in life.
Besides that, I'm a bit of a foodie and love dining out on the town (lots of around-Austin posts here!) reading, not cleaning, riding my yellow bicycle-with-a-basket, spending time with my husband and pups, and decorating our home (back before we were homeless, that is). Big adventure with a new house coming in fall of '13! Stay tuned.
Some things to know:
I'm an oversharer. I break a lot of the rules of blogging by posting sometimes-lengthy diatribes that include lots of feelings. This blog is very much a way of sorting things out for myself (free therapy, if you will), and I'm glad to see my oversharing sometimes resonates with people. I love the community here on SOML, and I hope you will too. We're all in this together, right?
Besides serious stuff, I also post a lot about life and love, stuff I wear, blogging tips, and the occasional recipe. Have questions? Maybe they're answered on the FAQ page.
