Foodheads

Foodheads is just another delicious and perfectly charming restaurant in Austin that I thought you all should know about (specifically if you're from around here and can actually go try this place out).  My mom and I had lunch there the other day and were really delighted by the character of the place, like in the mismatched old antique tables and chairs and desks used as tables (what a neat idea!), bright and fresh flowers nestled in little glass vases, colorful plastic cups for your drinks, and even a little library wall stocked with worn old books. I was in heaven.

Here's a few photos from the place... try it out, if you're in town!

Here are past Austin recommendation posts, if you'd like to browse!

  11. No joke, almost every time you post about an Austin restaurant, I begin to look up residency programs in Austin/San Antonio and then try to convince Joel why we need to move to texas for his residency, haha. So random, but it's true :)

  20. My gosh you make me so jealous with all your adventures and lovely pictures! I am all the way in CT and there is not much going on around here. I Find some places but not many as enjoyable as the places you visit. I always thought abut owning my own cafe and wanting to have all sorts of fun different chairs going around to each table.

Thank you so much for sharing I've decided I must one day visit Austin, Texas after all you have provided! You make it look like one the best places to live! Have a wonderful day!
