Happy week after Thanksgiving! Hope your holiday was full of good food and fun. We had a quiet day with my mom and sister, and enjoyed all the favorites... turkey and gravy, ham, sweet potato casserole and mashed poatoes, green beans, corn, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie, cobbler, and chocolate dipped peanut butter balls for good measure. You would have thought we were feeding an army, not just four people! Leftovers were had by all. :)
And so begins the countdown to Christmas. My Instagram feed has been blowing up with Christmas tree photos, and I'm a little jealous... we won't be getting ours 'til later in the week, and even then, I'm not sure how it will work since Matthew isn't supposed to lift anything heavy (darn that appendix!).
Anyway, enough of my rambling for now. Hope your Monday is minimally painful and your week gets off to a great start...

Oh my goodness, it all looks amazing. I am so jealous, my dream is to experience Thanksgiving in the States one day! I hope it will come true. Thanks for the lovely pics! xx
ReplyDeleteyou take the best photos! love them :)
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are making me drool a bit. Yummy!
ReplyDeleteAwww.. sorry to hear about your husband's appendix. Hope he feels better soon. We didn't put our tree up last year until the middle of December, and it just didn't feel like Christmas around here. This year we put it up the day after Thanksgiving, and I have to admit we feel much more in the Christmas spirit. I hope you can get your tree up soon!
Mmmm... looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteMmmm Mmm Delicious!! Love the pics and your adorable nail polish! Yes, I notice the little things :)
ReplyDeleteI love the pic of your Mom's dog dancing around the table waiting for food! That's all my Mom's little chihuahua does is dance like a circus bear on her hind legs by the fridge or table waiting for turkey scraps. :)
ReplyDeletegreat pictures as always Jenni, like right out of a magazine! Miss you 2.

ReplyDeleteLOVE that photo of Norman! Looks like a lovely holiday was had by all! And if it makes you feel any better, I'm not even decorating this year. No point, really. Heading home to NC for Christmas in early December so I'll get to take in all the decorations at my parents house. It's like Christmas threw up in their living room every year...so I think I'll be ok not decorating at my house. :)
