1. Picked up a little light reading at the airport on the way to Florida. Boy, do I have things to say about this book. But it will have to wait for another post.

2. On the plane with my seester. You don’t see her on the blog much, but I do have a seester.

3. Incidentally, I also have a little brother. As I mentioned in this post, my sister and I met him for the first time while on this trip. He was so, so sweet.

4. Got hit by the outer bands of Tropical Storm Beryl. Lucky us.

5. HOGWARTS!!! The Wizarding World of Harry Potter did not disappoint. I miss it terribly.

6. The butterbeer blew my mind.
* * * * *
7. Kristin and I had an amazing time together!
* * * * *
8. Meeting Sarah Tucker made my life.
* * * * *
9. Finally had a sunny day and some pool time.
* * * * *
10. Last minute purchase in the Orlando airport on the way home. I will wear it with pride.

Hope you’ve all had a nice weekend! Weirdly, I am suuuper excited to get back in the swing of a new week. Bring it on, Monday! :)

ReplyDeleteI am so so jealous that you got to go to "Hogwarts"! I was at Disney World 3 months before it opened and I'm still upset I didn't get to go. I love HP - I've read every book 3 times in English and once in German {dork...not ashamed}. Looks like you had a fun little getaway :)

ReplyDeleteI love the 50 shades books and I was in Orlando the 21st-23rd! I went to Harry Potter Land also and it made my life. I'm utterly obsessed with those books and being at Hogwarts was the best thing ever! And the frozen butter beer was delish!

I went there last year: http://www.anidetoknowbasis.com/2012/03/universal-studios.html and actually felt like a little kid again. It was just the most amazing time. (slight HP fan here haha) Did the castle ride blow you away? We went on it twice! :D
